ynne Gerald has taught in nursery programs across Long Island for 14 years. She started teaching cooking in the classroom and realized all the skills her students were enhancing; including fine motor skills, vocabulary, counting, sharing and communication. Patience and taking turns were also lessons well learned, along with proper hygiene and etiquette.

Lynne began branching out and pursuing her new passion, teaching in continuing education classes, enrichment classes and libraries throughout Long Island. People began requesting Lynne to do Birthday Parties in their homes. The requests were growing quickly, so Lynne founded her new home, "What's Cooking?", a Culinary School, Summer Camp, and Party Place for kids.

Here, children discover a love of cooking and new foods, learn about kitchen safety and are taught to recycle. "What's Cooking?" not only hosts memorable parties, but provides a variety of Cooking Classes for all levels, Holiday Classes, Scout Cooking Badges, Playgroups, and a fabulous and affordable weekly Summer Camp.
