Are your campers disappointed when it rains? Not anymore. Not after they discover the recipe to cook up some fun at “What’s Cooking?” Creating mouth watering culinary delights is the answer to wash away summer’s rainy day blues. As a hands-on cooking camp, every child will have the chance to prepare, cook and eat their own delicious, culinary creations. They’ll also learn about safety in the kitchen, etiquette and recycling.
Located in historic Oyster Bay, “What’s Cooking?” has been featured on Martha Stewart, News12 and in Newsday. We have certified teachers and nutritionists on staff. We’re also certified in CPR and fully insured. Our facilities are fully air-conditioned.
We can customize any program for your campers, ages 3-14. Our program includes cupcake or cookie, pretzel and chocolate or pizza making. We also do pajama parties and a whole host of other crafts and culinary activities. We offer bubble wrap stomping, decorating chef hats, aprons or potholders, bubblemania, dancing and even a complimentary firehouse tour. Programs include breakfast or lunch, beverages and a goody box of baked goods for each child, as well as a cooking award.
Let us show you how we can make a rainy day into a terrific day at “What’s Cooking?” Let your camper experience a unique and customized outing and make a day that was all wet, into the best day of camp yet!
